What is Reiki?

The Japanese healing energy of Reiki also known as Ki, Chi, Life & Light Force, Universal Energy in other modalities, helps not only daily living concerns but also the practicalities of the stages of life, business, finances, relationships, dreams, careers, purpose, friends, spirituality and more.

Why is Online Reiki powerful?

Reiki is an energy that evolves so that when practitioners had to go online during COVID, a specific type of Reiki allowed many practitioners with updated training to continue to help and reach others as before, but virtually. Another benefit was that people with accessibility issues or who are in distant locations or other countries could get Reiki or be trained online and not have to travel. Now clients don’t have to travel and can relax at home or even sleep after a session.

What does Reiki feel like?

Every person’s experience is different. It can feel warm, tingling, goose bumps, soothing, or nothing at all. Reiki works even when you cannot feel it.

How does Reiki work?

Think of Reiki as a familiar technology such as the internet. You don’t have to fully understand it, it works just as it is. It helps to believe that Reiki helps or could help you.

How does distant Reiki work?

Like a Radio Signal Reiki works across long distances.

Do I have to believe in a higher power for Reiki to work?

Reiki is an energy, and it has no religious dogma. The word Reiki in Japanese means, ‘Spiritually guided life force energy’.

What are the benefits of Reiki?

It helps to change limiting beliefs; to clarify which actions or choices to take; and to manifest our dreams to achieve the highest good.

  • Reiki is practical for the spirit/soul- the energy helps us remember that we are our Authentic Self, a spark of light, whole, complete, and healed. It helps us listen to our inner knowledge, which then can help us discern, and clarify goals and choices that help us to grow positively.

  • Reiki is practical for everyday living- choices, decisions, actions, planning, difficult conversations, relationships, health needs, relationships, remodeling, gardening, and more.

How do you feel at the end of a Reiki Session?

Relaxed. Calm. Refreshed. Energized. It depends on you. note- A few people report an increase in some symptoms at first- such as headaches, and fatigue. This is temporary and a good sign that Reiki is working for you.

What else is important to know?

Reiki is gentle. It causes no harm. It is complementary to Western medicine treatment. Reiki energy is always available and never depleted. Reiki is love. It can be used on pregnant people, children, elders, and animals (stock, pet, wild, zoo), and is NOT judgmental.

How often should I have sessions?

The benefits of three sessions are powerful if you are working on a specific healing, goal, or habit you want to manifest or change. There is power in consistency! Three sessions are useful to advance your spiritual practice or achieve goals in your Reiki Business. For these 3 sessions to benefit you, intervals of 2-3 weeks are recommended.
